St. Paul's Lutheran Church was organized in 1849 as Mt. Pisgah Lutheran Church under the leadership of Rev. William Kopp of St. Paul, McConnellsburg. The current church building was constructed and dedicated in 1871, and was re-named St. Paul's in 1874. The congregation joined the ELCM in December, 2009 and is a part of the McConnellsburg Lutheran Parish with St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church in McConnellsburg. We continue to serve Big Cove Tannery and Fulton County through an active Word and Sacrament ministry.

The congregation uses Lutheran Book of Worship in its services and usually uses Holy Communion, Setting One as its Sunday liturgy.  We celebrate the sacrament of Holy Communion on the 3rd Sunday of each month in addition to major festivals during the year and at special joint services with our sister congregation of the parish.

St. Paul's Lutheran Church also has an active Sunday School program for children and adults alike, meeting at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday mornings.
